Au Revoir Paris

This post is bittersweet. These past five weeks have surpassed my expectations. I finished almost everything on my to do list and I've learned so much not just in class, but about French culture and language and international culture in general. There are so many different people on this planet and they all have something special to share and contribute in this increasingly globalized world. I hope that for my part, I have been able to represent aspects of my culture and identity as an American in the best way possible. With so many negative attitudes abound, it can sometimes be difficult to find common ground. But with a little effort, it is achievable to stay true to yourself and also learn new ways to see the world. If I'm being honest, I would love to spend more time in France, or take a break and go home before Beijing and Morocco. However, this is not an ideal world and I am fully embracing (or trying to) the next adventures and challenges ahead of me. I could not be more grateful for all the precious experiences and gifts I have received and I want to thank all of you that have made this possible. So goodbye to Paris and France for now. I wish I could share every moment from this precious time, but thats not possible and know I'm trying my best to update.
